Please welcome Principal, Sarah St. Martin!

Sarah St. MartinSarah St. Martin grew up in De Pere, WI. She graduated from St. Norbert College in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Communication.  From there, she attended Colorado Christian University to earn an elementary teaching certificate. St. Martin began her teaching career in 2009 at St. Anthony School of Milwaukee where she taught 3rd grade. She later taught 2nd grade in the Greendale School District before becoming an Instructional Coach in the Racine Unified School District.

In 2015, St. Martin graduated from Alverno College with a master's degree in Administrative and Instructional Leadership. She is a National Board Certified Teacher and will complete the reading teacher program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in August. This fall, she will begin doctoral studies in Urban Education with a focus in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  She has been named principal at Wilson Elementary School for the 2019-2020 school year.

“I believe in supporting the success of all learners academically, socially, and emotionally,” says St. Martin. “I feel it’s important to provide learners with meaningful and relevant experiences that foster independence, responsibility, collaboration, and communication skills while encouraging personal growth and development.”

Sarah lives in Milwaukee with her husband, Matt, and their three pets.
